Queen Elizabeths Grammar School, Ashbourne has again been recognised nationally, this time in the Extended Learning Department by receiving a SEND Exceptional Outcomes Award. The award is based on data collated by the Department for Education during 2018/19 academic year and has been awarded by the Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT) in recognition of the school’s innovative practice and the impact it has had on its Special Educational Needs learners, as demonstrated in the 2019 outcomes.

I am delighted that the school has received this award and congratulate Miss Meadows (school SENCO) and her dedicated team of teaching assistants who work tirelessly to support our students who need them the most. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the rest of the staff for their continued hard work and commitment in supporting all of our students across all year groups and to our parents for their continued support.
