Year 7 girls and year 8 girls travelled to Derby University on Wednesday afternoon to each compete against 7/8 other schools, challenging to be the County Sporthall athletics champions.

They took part in several track races and field events over the afternoon and battled against some really tough competition, winning numerous races & achieving some personal bests over all areas.

Both teams placed 1st and were crowned County champs!

A massive achievement and lots of praise deserved, very talented bunch of ladies.
