As a school we have operated throughout the Covid 19 pandemic with careful consideration, reviewing our risk assessments weekly to ensure the safety of our staff and students. Unfortunately, due to an increase in Covid 19 cases across Derby City Centre and South Derbyshire we have now made the decision to limit our numbers to the school site and as such we are only inviting our award winners and our students collecting exam certificates only. Therefore, this means we will not be permitting any parents, sponsors, or external guests to the school on the night of Speech Day 2021. Other school events are also being reviewed and modified accordingly.
However, we would like to invite you to the live stream of the event, where you are able to enjoy the evening in situ from a location of your choice or have access to the recording of the event at a later date. Photographs of each prize winner will be available on request following the event. These photographs will also be displayed on the QEGS website in the New Year.
We will be using a live stream to broadcast Speech Day 2021. The link will be live on our website from 6pm.

Please note: the live stream will be available approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
All award winners and students returning to collect their exam certificates are invited to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. We ask that all attendees return a negative result from a Lateral Flow Test on the day of the event; face coverings should be worn throughout the event and when onsite; use of sanitiser on entry. There will be bottled water available for each guest.
