Yesterday the dance and drama department welcomed 235 students from different primary schools from our catchment area. They had the opportunity to explore different arts subjects following on the theme of World Arts and designing their own Day of the Dead masks in Art, performing Greek theatre on our school stage, and writing a piece of creative writing in English. Students also enjoyed creating some samba music in the music department and had a tour of the school learning about the origins of QEGS. Students had a fantastic time and after enjoying a small showcase performed by a range of students across all year groups, they all got up to perform their Bollywood dance.
