QEGS had such a great time at the National NSEA championship at Keysoe, Bedfordshire!

Our team were Eleanor C – I’m Spartacus, Grace – Master Light, Chloe DCalder Diesel, Brooke W-A – Golden Liberty and Libby A – Joey. Our ‘Jumping with style’ team travelled and competed just before half term in a show jumping class at 80/85cm.

Of the 4 rounds we had 3 go clear in very fast times! We eventually held fast to our placing of 8th and were absolutely delighted to note that there were barely seconds between ourselves and the winning team. The camaraderie between the girls and the care of their ponies was fantastic.
We then had Libbie with Joey compete in the dressage as an individual. Having held onto sixth place throughout the day, Libby eventually finished in 9th out of a huge field of riders. Another great result.

Breaking news….Libbie and Joey won the NSEA County Challenge Dressage Preliminary class at Eland Lodge on 5th November, so Libbie is County Champion and has qualified for the County Finals at Hickstead next May!! Chloe D also placed 4th in the same class.
