Summer School August 2025
We are pleased to announce that our school will be hosting a Summer School Event again this year. This event will take place on 18th, 19th, and 20th August and will provide a fantastic opportunity for students to participate in team building activities, meet their new peers and familiarise themselves with the school and staff. Ideally, students who wish to attend should do so every day, for the full day, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Event Details:
Dates: 18th, 19th, and 20th August 2025.
Time: 9:30am – 2:30pm each day.
Location: Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, The Green Road, Ashbourne, DE6 1EP.
Activities: Academic enrichment, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and much more! A detailed schedule of activities will be shared closer to the event.
How to Register: Parents of student joining QEGS in September 2025 have been emailed with instructions on how to register for this free event.
The event is completely free of charge. Students should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle with them each day. If your child usually receives Free School Meals, we can provide a packed lunch if required – you will be able to request this on the booking form. Specific information regarding start/finish times, collection and drop-off areas, etc. will be communicated at a later date.
