School Uniform

Please see information provided by Schools In on how you can order your son/daughter’s school uniform below.

Since the Prime Minister’s announcement of a second national lockdown, we have been seeking advice on whether or not we can continue to trade out of our retail stores. We have now had confirmation that although schools are to remain open, as a school uniform retailer, we are NOT classed as an “essential” retail store. Therefore, as of Thursday 5th November, our 3 retail stores in Meir, Stone and Nantwich will unfortunately be closed. If allowed we will be re-opening on the 2nd December.

We are very mindful of the fact that some pupils may still require uniform during this period so our website www.schoolsinuniform.co.uk will remain open for orders. Orders will be processed by a member of staff every Monday and delivery will be between 7 and 10 working days from processing date. So for example an order placed on Tuesday 10th November will be processed on Monday 16th November with delivery within 7-10 working days of the 16th. We will inform customers of any potential delays if they should occur.

Throughout the lockdown period we will be offering a 10% discount on all orders placed online when using code LOCKDOWN10.

School Uniform

If a student is not wearing the correct uniform, it is important this is sorted at the earliest opportunity. The table below shows how different issues are addressed. Where possible, we have a stock of clean, nearly new, spare/loan items to help students and families to meet our uniform expectations while their uniform is corrected. If your child does not have the correct uniform please write a note for them explaining the situation and saying when it will be corrected (e.g. sole fallen off shoes, buying new ones tonight). All teachers monitor uniform on a daily basis and contact home when concerns arise.

Please note, we have slightly changed our PE kit for practicality purposes and affordability prices.  The polo shirt and rugby shirt are now black and red opposed to white and red.  We have also replaced the hoodie to a smarter more practical half zip midlayer.  For existing students and those starting in September it is not a problem if you have been given pre-owned PE kit.  We fully appreciate that some students may have been given PE kit from older siblings/friends etc.  This will not be challenged and perfectly acceptable for them to wear.
