A HUGE WELL DONE to all our Bronze and Silver students for completing their qualifying expedition last week! We had great walking weather and the behaviour, etiquette and attitude of all students was fantastic! From map reading and teamwork skills to tent craft and perseverance – it was such a delight to observe, and you have all made us very proud DofE managers! We hope you have enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing many of you move on the next Award Level!

A big thank you, also, to all the parents who have supported our participants with drop offs/pick ups/transporting to various activities etc! Your support is very much appreciated.

QEGS DofE students have also completed 1,378 of volunteering hours since 1st April 2022 (more than doubling last year’s total!). This equates to £6,627 of social value. Not only do our students develop valuable lifelong skills through their volunteering, but they made a difference to the lives of many others in our local community.
