Over the last two weeks all students in years 7-11 have attended an assembly on consent and child on child abuse. We talked about what consent meant and that ‘consent is everything’. We then spoke about bullying and the difference between bullying and friendship fall outs. We defined what child on child abuse meant and reminded students how to report any issues in school- either to a member of staff or on our Report It tool on our website. Students were very mature in their approach to this and asked some very pertinent questions.
