During Thursday 19th May the Courtney Gallery held an awards night for all the prize-winning students of the Celebration Of Colour Exhibition. The students and their proud families were able to see their artwork in the gallery and meet the Arts Society Dove Valley members who supported the exhibition and supplied both the prizes and money to assist setting up the exhibition.

The public vote prize winners for:
• Best in Exhibition – 1st Hugo A, 2nd Sienna W-F, 3 rd Annie W, GCSE textile prize -Annie W
• GCSE art and design – Holly D
• Sixth form A-level art – Alice L
• Sixth form Btec art – Holly B, Maisy J
• Year 9 & 10 – Gregory P
• Year 7 & 8 – Ailsa S
• Teacher’s choice award – Witeck Z.

We are so proud of all the students that have contributed to the amazing exhibition, it really showed off their varied talents. Visitor numbers doubled from last year and we are already planning for next year in this new venue.
