Canon Young People Programme

We were delighted to again welcome two former students back to QEGS this week. Local photographer and filmmaker Clive Booth and graphic designer and brand strategist Hannah Wood spent the whole of Monday working with 16 Year 12 and 13 Digital Media and Art students to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day on Tuesday.

Building on the hugely successful work produced by the students at QEGS in 2021/22 on the subject of #ClimateAnxiety, which was exhibited both locally and across Europe, Clive and Hannah returned for the first ever delivery of their brand new #CanonYoungPeopleProgramme workshop, developed for 2023, around the topic of wellness and #mentalhealth.

Despite the difficulty of completely answering the brief in a single day, our students rose to the challenge, producing some stunning results, which can be seen here. As always a massive thank you to Clive and Hannah for giving their time to come and work with and inspire students at QEGS.
