World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day 2022

This year’s theme for World Mental Health Day 2022 is ‘Make Mental Health and Well-Being for All a Global Priority’. In a time of global instability, particularly after the pandemic, this theme gives us an opportunity to re-kindle out efforts to make the world a better place for everyone!
People with mental health conditions, governments, employers and everyone else can come together and make sure mental health is a priority for everyone.

World Mental Health Day- Friday 8th October 2021

We marked World Mental Health Day on Friday 8th October 2021. During period 1 students and staff listened to a talk from a registered nutritionist about the impact of food and drink on our mental health. We then finished the day in form groups discussing mental health and began to create a whole school pledge. A reminder that Kooth.com is a great online resource for students struggling with their mental health as well as Zumos which we subscribe to as a school. Students are encouraged to speak to any staff member they are comfortable speaking to if they need support.
