Admissions
QEGS is a popular and over-subscribed 11-18 Academy School whose Governing Body, as the Admissions Authority, has responsibility for determining the Admissions Arrangements. The schools Admissions Policy has been agreed by the Local Authority.
All admissions to the school are processed through Derbyshire County Council.
Parents of Year 6 students will be informed in early September on the process for secondary school applications by their Junior School. It is vital that Parents adhere to the deadline date for completion of their application, which is normally 31 October. There is no guarantee of a place at the School and all places are allocated according to our Admissions Policy which has been approved by the Local Authority.
